We had a fantastic experience with this moving company! The manager was extremely responsive and flexible when scheduling our moving date. They did an excellent job estimating the time required and the number of movers needed.On the day of the move, the team (4 movers!) was punctual and handled our belongings with great care while packing efficiently.I would strongly recommend this moving company!

I had an amazing experience with Impel Moving. My move included a steep driveway that their trucks couldn’t get up, and the team of four carried everything by hand without hesitation. They were professional, friendly, careful with all of my furniture, and worked incredibly hard the entire day.This is the best moving crew I’ve hired — they communicated well, protected my home, and made a very stressful move so much easier. I would absolutely hire Impel again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for movers who truly go above and beyond.

I wasn’t expecting this level of service considering how a lot of moving companies damage your furniture, or have outrageous prices.They even reset up things that were broken down, like my bookshelf! These guys are my new heroes. We had a challenging move—2 guys who lived in the same place for 22 years—and a lot still not packed when Alex and Simon arrived. Then I had to split to deal with an emergency, trusting them to handle it alone, unsupervised. They did it and helped set up as well! Good communication from the office as well. Would not hesitate to call them again!

We had a great experience with the movers. They helped us move from our two bedroom apartment into a house of similar size, which we could not have done without them! They were on time, courteous, and all around excellent movers. They brought wardrobe boxes that we needed and purchased for a small fee. My husband and I used Shipshape a couple months ago to move within the same city after reading good reviews in a number of places, and we had the best experience! Communication was fantastic from the moment we inquired via email, with clear explanations about pricing, considerations, available supplies, and more. The move day itself was really smooth--which is extra impressive given that the place we were moving from was the upper unit of a duplex which itself was on a hill with uneven stairs up--not a super fun or easy moving scenario! The team was efficient, friendly, and handled everything like pros, and we're so grateful. Definitely do not want to move again anytime soon but when we do--Shipshape it is! Highly recommend, thank you!

However, I would urge that you get a very precise estimate before moving. I think it’s best to have the movers see physically, what needs to be moved -I would highly recommend these guys. I needed help moving my nephew 160 miles away for college. I need help mostly with the heavy items, couch, kitchen tables, a desk and miscellaneous items. I checked with several other companies for comparable prices. And this movie company had the most reasonable rates and really good Reviews. On the day of the move, the guys are very polite. They moved everything completely and assembled the couch, kitchen chairs, the desk for me and then put stuff in whichever room I needed both guys were super helpful and answering any questions. I would highly recommend this company and will be using them again if I need anything moved.

A good friend recommended Shipshape/Impel, and because I have never used professional movers before, I took the recommendation and started the process online. Dave and Maria responded immediately to the quote request and to requests along the way. Working to prepare for the movewas simple and prompt. But the real transformation happened on moving day. Our family had been in the same apartment for 15 years and was both nervous and excited for our big day.Max and Max were amazing. They were friendly, efficient, trustworthy, and experts at everything they did. They disassembled and reassembled furniture as if they had designed and built it themselves and treated everything with utmost care. They were willing to make an extra stop to deposit a large dresser at our parents house. You couldn’t ask for better, and I recommend them wholeheartedly. Don’t forget to feed and tip your movers.

Absolutely amazing moving company!! If you’re deciding between multiple, ShipShape is the way to go. From start to finish, our movers (Max, Max, and Roger) were courteous, quick, and overall wonderful! They eased our stress/worries about moving last minute, helped us box up some last things in our kitchen, and disassembled/reassembled furniture, and more. We moved to a loft with a narrow staircase, and we were very impressed and grateful by how quickly they were able to get our furniture upstairs. Very communicative and friendly group. They even helped us design our spaces with the furniture set up and decorations. We hope to not move for some time, but if/when we do, we will definitely be calling our friends at ShipShape again!
